Terminologies on Populism
Abusive Constitutionalism
Abusive constitutionalism: Populist regimes use standard institutional and procedural legal solutions developed in constitutional democracies—such as constitutional court procedures or popular vote—in order to build the power unity of the leading political elite of the state and to limit the classical democratic approach to the construction of state power. The concept was first described by David Landau.
